No School Monday - Labor Day!: There is no school on Monday, September 7 for the Labor Day holiday.
Bobo’s Pizza Fundraiser! 🍕 Information went home on Friday, September 4. Bobo’s is our biggest PTC fundraiser for LCE and SPE - last year we raised over $23,000 between the two schools! Please turn in all order forms and money to LCE by Friday, September 18. Thanks for your support!
#LCE60 Planning Open House: We are hosting a planning meeting/Open House for any families or parents interested in joining in on the planning and execution of our 60th anniversary event. We are planning on a “Block Party” event on a nice Autumn Saturday, and would love some help planning the event from any families interested in joining in the planning fun! This will be on Tuesday, September 8, at 4:30pm!
PTC Stay and Play: Our Fall Stay and Play will be Thursday, September 10, from 5:00-6:30pm. Feel free to bring lawn chairs, dinner, friends and family. However, pets are not allowed, and it is NOT a “drop and go” event. Parents or guardians are required to stay, or to have their Trailblazer supervised by a trusted adult.
Assessment Reports Coming Home: On Friday, September 11, two assessment reports are coming home. One is your child’s Math iReady “For Families” report, which outlines how to interpret your child’s iReady Math results. The other is their Missouri Assessment Program Grade Level Assessment Individual Score Report. In other words, it describes their performance on last year’s MAP test :)
