Lucky to Have You Week is here! We will be holding our 3rd annual Lucky to Have You Week this week. Tuesday is a WEAR GREEN spirit day. No pinching, though :)
Wednesday, March 18 and Thursday, March 19 will be our Donuts with a Lucky Ones events. March 18 will be for families last names A-M, and March 19 will be for all remaining families. Doors will open at 8:15am both days. Additionally, students may wear green or orange any day of the week for a Trailblazer ticket!
Love on a Leash and DARE Spaghetti Dinner: We are holding the DARE dinner at 5:30pm, and our Title I Love on a Leash event (open to 5th graders/families and students of Mrs. Westbrook) at 6pm. Both will be on Monday evening!
Math iReady Spring Diagnostic: The window for our Spring Diagnostic in Math begins on Monday. Students will have an opportunity to show what they know and have learned this year! You can help by making sure your Trailblazer gets a great night of sleep and eats a healthy breakfast day-of, and cheering them on when they get home. Many of our students are super motivated to see their score go up, and we are proud of them one way or the other!
Records Day: Our 3rd Quarter records day will be on Friday, March 20. We will not have school on Friday.
5th Grade Lessons: We have two lessons this week with more sensitive content. Wednesday is our annual CHADS Signs of Suicide presentation, and Thursday is our Human Growth and Development lesson. If you do not want your child to participate, please reach out to me or to your child’s teacher by Wednesday morning.

Tuesday, 8-8:45: 3rd Reading, 4th Math, 5th Reading and Math
