Our first semester is almost over. What? Below is the last THIS WEEK AT LCE for the semester (and the year too!)
We have Spirit Days every day leading up to Winter Break. Click the link here to find our school calendar, which lists all the Spirit Days for the month!
Additionally, we are gearing up for our 2026 SPE/LCE PTC Trivia Night! First, if you are interested in donating a basket OR purchasing a round sponsorship, please contact our PTC at spe.lce.ptc@gmail.com. Flyers to purchase a table will be coming out soon, so be on the lookout!
Holiday Shoppe: This week during PE class, your child will get a chance to visit the PTC Holiday Shoppe! If you are interested in volunteering and assisting with gift wrapping or cashier station, click this link!
Spelling Bee!: Our 2025 Spelling Bee will be on Wednesday, starting at 9:30am. Due to space considerations, we can only invite the families of Spelling Bee participants. We can’t wait to watch our spellers do their thing!
Winter Parties: We have all Winter Parties next week! 3rd grade Winter Party will be on Thursday (2:30-3:30pm), 5th grade Winter Party will be on Friday from 12:30-1:30, and 4th grade will be 1:30-2:30pm. We kindly ask that no younger siblings be brought to our parties, and that any snack requests be shared with your child's teacher. Many snacks do not comply with allergy requirements and as such cannot be shared or consumed at parties.
Referral Free Celebration: Any student who did not receive a disciplinary referral during 2nd quarter will be able to participate in our referral-free celebration. These will be for students who never served a recess detention, time in office, or time in in-school or out-of-school suspension. You will receive notice this week regarding your child’s participation (or not). This will be on Friday morning, from 9:10-9:40!
Winter Sing-along: Friday is our Winter Singalong! If your child is in choir, you are welcome to come! However, we only have enough space for our choir families and not all families. Our cafeteria is unfortunately too small to welcome all of our families.
