Art Show Sneak Peek! Don't forget our FPE Art Show is tonight! Families are invited to come to FPE from 4:30-5:30 pm to view our amazing student art work! 5th graders collected data about how many (plastic!) red and black ants they could pull out of mulch in 30 seconds. This led to a discussion about traits and their impact on survival.

Starting Monday, February 27 - March 3 is our Reading is Fundamental Week. We will have fun-themed days throughout the week.
Ms. Hagl's class practiced higher-level thinking, problem-solving, and trial by error to solve the problem. Students started by solving individually before working together with partners to work through the problem.
Students in Mrs. Mathews' class became mathematical surgeons today! They were tasked with diagnosing problems and choosing the best strategy and operation to solve problems involving fractions.
Do you know someone turning 5 years old on or before July 31? It's time to get ready for Kindergarten registration! Fort Zumwalt will welcome the members of the Class of 2036 and their families in person at 14 elementary schools from 2 - 7 p.m., March 1. Committee work on the Continuous School Improvement Plan (CSIP), began last month as a part of the sixth, and most recent, Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP 6). The steering committee has been gathering data and conducting surveys to help define the focus of its work as Fort Zumwalt creates its guiding document for the next three years.
At the meeting tonight, participants will hear from the committee about its work so far and have the opportunity to ask questions about the CSIP process and the district’s goals.
