Attendance Policy
Student absences must be verified within a 48 hour period beginning the day of the absence. If an absence is not verified within that time frame, a student will receive a warning for the first violation. Subsequent violations will be treated as truancy.
For example: A student absent on Tuesday must be verified by the end of the day on Thursday. In addition, truancies un-related to verification will be treated as they have been in the past.
Guidelines for “0” hour:

Guidelines for “0” hour:
- On the 8th “0 hour only absence” a student will receive a warning.
- On the 10th “0 hour only absence” a student will be dropped if withdrawn within the first nine weeks of the course.
- After the first nine weeks, a student will be dropped with an F. Late arrivals to “0” hour will be treated as any other late arrival
